Kale oil intensively nourishes the skin due to its high chlorophyll content, it is ideal for tired,
grey skin that requires a good dose of vitamins. The skin after oil becomes smoother and takes on a healthy color.
In addition, kale is one of the richest sources of lutein and zeaxanthin in the world, which are very powerful
antioxidants. They have the ability to absorb energy of blue light, thanks to which they protect against photochemical
damage. The oil improves the function of the sebaceous glands and increases the amount of surface lipid layer.
It strongly improves skin elasticity and hydration - it is believed that the increase in skin hydration is due to the penetration
of lutein and zeaxanthin into the cell membranes of keratinocytes, which results in an improvement in the ability to retain
water in the deeper layers of the skin through the stratum corneum. Reduced lipid peroxidation may also have some
significance in improving skin hydration.
